Children and Youth
Children and youth choirs sing at selected Sunday morning and festival services throughout the year. They meet September through May.
Alleluia Choir (Age 3-kindergarten)
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:25 pm. Children begin to explore the world of music and rhythm using their voices, bodies, and instruments. Contact Laurie Dehmlow.
Carolers (1st - 3rd Grade)
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:00 pm. Choir members learn simple hymns, spiritual songs, and anthems which allow them to take a stronger role in worship services. Contact Laurie Dehmlow.
Choristers (4th - 6th Grade)
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45 pm. This more advanced children’s choir takes on significant leadership responsibilities in the service, as well as providing music of many styles and cultures to enhance the worship of the congregation. Contact Tor Johnson.
Cantáre (7th - 12th Grade)
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45 pm. Cantáre, our brand new choral ensemble for youth, provides lively and exciting leadership for Sunday morning worship services, sharing vocal and instrumental music of many styles and cultures. Contact Ralph Johnson for more information.
Good Shepherd Choir
Adults: Wednesdays, 7:00−8:30 pm. The Good Shepherd Choir provides a vital and robust foundation for congregational singing, as well as offering choral music that reflects and enhances the texts or themes of each worship service.
