Call Committee Update, July 27, 2025
The Call Committee has been working diligently to identify our next lead pastor. While we all are eager for that day to come, we realize that we are working on God’s time, not our time.
As of this update, the Call Committee has received seven candidate profiles of pastors from the Minneapolis Area Synod. We are nearly finished with first interviews of our current candidates and have begun scheduling a limited number of second interviews. This part of the process is likely to continue into late September, due to summer schedules and previously scheduled long-term commitments of the candidates and Call Committee members.
The Call Committee remains in the early stages of our discernment journey as we meet the candidates. Please continue to keep the candidates and the Call Committee in your prayers, and ask the Holy Spirit to help guide the Committee and the candidates during our work to discern God's will.
