Worship
Seeing a new way through worship
We welcome you to worship at Good Shepherd
Worship is the center of our community life. We come together each Sunday – to thank and praise God, to see and hear the Word, to share the Lord’s meal, to pray for those in need and to be sent into the world to serve.
Within a framework of liturgical worship, we strive to include creative freshness, meaning and relevancy to our daily lives through biblical preaching, a variety of musical styles and the arts. Our worship space surrounds us with beautiful visual symbols of our faith in stained glass and sculpture. Organ, piano, instrumentalists and choirs lead us in congregational singing. We value the participation and leadership of all ages in our worship.
God of grace, you have created us to be in relationship with you and with each other. You have given us minds to know you, hearts to love you and bodies to praise you. We ask you to guide us and bless us as we seek to encounter you in worship and to treasure your presence in our worship life together.
