Welcome to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd! We make every effort to welcome each visitor personally. We are happy to have you here!
Join us for worship in our beautifully renovated Sanctuary! Upon visiting Good Shepherd on Sunday morning, you will find a staffed Welcome Desk in addition to greeters and ushers at each entrance. Any of these people can be easily identified, as they will be wearing a name tag. They are all available to answer any questions you may have, or to lead you in the right direction. Please do no hesitate to ask them questions. They are there to help you.
Sunday morning worship services are at 8:15 and 10:30. All are welcome.
We hope that you will bring your children to worship; however, for those who prefer it, the nursery is open every Sunday for children through age 4. The nursery is located on the second level, on the east side of the building. For children in the worship service, there are children’s bulletins (available from the ushers) and rainbow bags with toys and activities (available in the refreshment area). Worship services also have Storytime with master storyteller, Heather Roth Johnson. Children are welcome (but, of course, not required) to come forward during this time.
COFFEE AND REFRESHMENTS
Sacred Grounds Coffee Shop is open between services. It is located in the Narthex. This is a great place for conversation over a latte or a mocha. Donations for this ministry are accepted. Refreshments are also served after each service.
