The Tag Team

Bob started their ushering tradition over 30 years ago. Lois joined him over 20 years ago, adding her big smile to the ushering crew.  They’ve been some of the smiling faces we see each Sunday, directing us and assisting when needed.   They’ve even calmed a few parents’ hearts.  “Our granddaughter Katie and two of her friends wanted to sit together during worship.  That would normally be fine, except that they were in preschool!  All the parents let them sit together even back then because as ushers we could keep an eye on them.  Those girls still sit together… but we’ll miss them this fall as they head off to  be college freshman!”
