Gifts of the Heart and Hands

Don Meyer has enjoyed woodworking as a hobby since he was a little boy. “When I got to church, I was interested in trying to show a visual for a particular bible passage.” Don has crafted many scenes for Good Shepherd, and his friends at our church. “When someone inspires me with their life or work, and I have a good cause to make a gift for them, I try to find a bible passage that shows what their life is about.”

What Good Shepherd means to me:

We chose Good Shepherd in 1957 because of the preaching. We have always had good preaching. Pastor Samuelson is really a tremendous blessing to us. Her sermons relate to everyone’s life. I can see myself in her sermons. The strength of our staff is my inspiration.
