“Roots” – Confirmation
The question “Who am I?”, though not often articulated, is central in the life of adolescents. It is a time of questioning, wondering, uncertainty and a lot of growth. It is also a time for the church to equip and uphold youth on their journey to further develop a sense of self. In confirmation we share the good news that they aren’t alone and that they have been created with gifts that bring blessings to the world. In confirmation our 6-8th grade youth:
- Find their place in God’s story and discover how God calls each of them to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
- Discover that Jesus is leading us, following us, walking next to us, and abiding (making his home) in us.
- Journey with their parents and peers to discover that Jesus is present in their life and calling them to a life filled with God’s grace.
Confirmation meets Wednesdays at 7-8 pm in the youth room, led by Pastor Jon Lund and adult guides. Friends are invited as well. Contact: Pastor Jonathan Lund.

“Renewal” – High School
Eat, meet, talk and serve. Join Pastor Jonathan Lund, adult guides and our high school youth as they meet and discuss wide-ranging issues of faith. We gather on Sunday mornings during learning hour and throughout the year for fun and service.
In addition to Sunday mornings, high school youth can gather in the youth lounge on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm for conversation and fellowship.
