The selection for the month of July is "The Chemistry of Joy," by Henry Emmons, MD. Dr Emmons is not only a skilled physician, but he has the heart of a healer. This book offers insight, information, and encouragement on the various ways one may cope with depression. We will meet on July 20 at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room; refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
September: Minnesota 1918, a historical account of the impact on Minnesota by the Hinckley fire, WWI and the influenza pandemic, written by Curt Brown.
October: Daughter of the Reformation, by Mary Helene Rasmussen Jackson. This is an historical perspective of the life and times of the wife of Martin Luther.
The August selection is yet to be determined; feel free to offer suggestions!
