Neighbors
We strive to be a good neighbor in southwest Minneapolis and Edina, opening our doors as a welcoming place for activity in our area. Look for these events hosted at Good Shepherd!
Over Coffee
Our popular Over Coffee program returned Thursday nights from February 2 – March 1 with a compelling presenter schedule. The series was founded in the fall of 1995 and was motivated by the conviction that the church, as a public institution, provides a platform where all issues of human concern can be discussed. The return of Over Coffee is funded by a grant from the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Foundation. Check out our exciting new schedule.
Welcome Center Kiosk!
The welcome center kiosk in the narthex is a gift from the estate of Karen Norman given by her sister, Andrea Norman. This is something that Karen wanted for Good Shepherd and is truly a legacy of her warm, welcoming presence. It will be staffed on Sundays so visitors will always have a welcoming person with whom to connect and to learn more about Good Shepherd. People will also be able to see a listing of and sign up for, upcoming events. Look for more information in the weeks ahead about what will be available at the kiosk for our Good Shepherd community and our visitors.
